I don't know about you, but this time of year brings with it an array of extra "duties" that we all must perform to get ready for the upcoming holidays.
Each year, I say I am going to start earlier and every year is the same...it seems. December is filled with decorating the tree, decorating the house, putting up the outside lights, shopping for everyone, mailing packages so that they will get to people on time for Christmas, making out Christmas Cards and getting them in the mail, working on the Blogger Card Exchange, wrapping gifts, making food for parties you might be attending, meeting friends for holiday celebrations...and the list goes on...
Take time to B R E A T H E...
We all have to keep reminding ourselves of that!!

It is a hectic time of year. It's no wonder so many people end up depressed and stressed.
Very good advice. The holidays can certainly be very stressful.
We have pretty much done everything so feeling smug here. We hate the last minute rush. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Yes as the years go by we get better at balancing the preparations with enjoying the season.
We are not decorated yet. Time is flying. It doesn't help they are playing Christmas music at Halloween

Since my kids are grown and living on their own now, I haven't "done" Christmas in years. So no stress over here.
Our mommy is always behind for Christmas! She doesn't start until after Daddy's birthday which was yesterday so we'll see what gets done this year.
Wise advice, Jeanne. Yes, we all need to take time to BREATHE and enjoy this time of the year.
Have a faaaabulous Monday and week, my friend!

You are absolutely right! There is so much to do and we have to stop and take time to enjoy it ☺
Exactly what Mom has been saying all week - she thinks someone is stealing hours out of her days:(

Time always seems to move faster in December than any other month.
Oh, thats why i do not like Dec. Yes, the holidays are bautiful but no time to breathe. Kids, work, christmas parties etc. Where's the time for dog and blog :)
We decided this year to just take one day at a time and enjoy the tasks at hand...breathing in fresh air and breathing out the stress!
Smileys!
