SnugglePuppie is an award winning product that provides warmth and comfort through the use of a heartbeat that "feels" real! SnugglePuppie also comes with a disposable heatpack, as well as a reusable cloth pouch that you can fill with regular rice in and continue to reuse again and again.
The real "feel" heartbeat runs on triple AAA batteries which are easy to replace. The batteries will last up to a week with continued use and turning off the battery will double or triple the life of the battery!
SnugglePuppie comes with two types of heat sources. One is disposable and one is renewable. Both of these heat sources are safe and will not cause any harm to your pet should they be accidentally ingested! The heartbeat and heat pack are perfectly safe to use at the same time. Just place them in the velcro pouch on the underside of the SnugglePuppie's belly. The heat pack is made up of earth-friendly iron powder, vermiculite, activated carbon and salt. The second type of heat source that is recommended by Snuggle Pet Products is dry rice. A cloth pouch is included with your purchase of the SnugglePuppie. Just fill the pouch with dry rice and microwave for 45 seconds or less and the heat will last for approximately three hours.
The SnugglePuppie (or SnuggleKittie) is machine washable on gentle cycle with no harsh detergents. Make sure that you remove all of the contents of the inner pouch before washing!

Heck I wouldn't mind having one of these to snuggle with my self especially on cold winter nights. But as one who rescues orphaned and injured baby animals (both domestic and wild) I could see one of these as being very useful.
