They BLOOMED!! They Actually Bloomed!!I

I have been an admirer of poppies for EVER!!  Last year we transplanted some from my neighbors garden, never expecting them to blossom this year.  Well, apparently, cold weather must be good for poppies because they had a VERY harsh winter up here in the North Country...and we have POPPIES!

I am so excited!!  Have a look!!









I was just SO thrilled that they came up this year that they get their very own spotlight post for Dory/Arty's Flower Friday Post!!

I love poppies too... they always remind me of my childhood as they were nearly everywhere on all meadows... :o)

Your poppies are just beautiful! They are our mom's very favorite flower! The oriental poppy comes in white and purple too but mom doesn't have either of those colors - YET!
