Fall Foliage!

Things sure have been busy around here!  After we closed the cottage and came home, we discovered that the water heater had "issues".  Lovely.  Just what we need.  So, that is now on the list of things we need to purchase.

I don't think I mentioned here on the blog that my brand new Jeep had its very own issues a couple of weeks ago.  I was driving home from Watertown and almost went right through an intersection!  I slammed my foot on the brake and that Jeep just did not want to stop.  So, my husband took it out for a test run and discovered that the brakes were not operating correctly.  We called the dealer back in Rochester and he told us to bring it to the dealer at the cottage.  Ben said no, he'd rather drive it home and have the dealer we bought it from check it out.  So....that was a LONG drive home for him, but he got it home safely and that is what counts.  It turns out there was a recall on that part we did not know about.  So, four days later...the Jeep is fixed!  YAY!  Somehow, I was hoping that purchasing a newer vehicle would alleviate the car troubles.  Not always the case!!

Anyway, we got home with two car loads of "stuff" to unload and wash and put away and separate in to what goes where.  Yesterday, we winterized the water lines in the RV, today was wash & wax day for that.

It kinds of makes that whole "tiny house" thing sound like something I might be interested in!!  There are days we just get tired of taking care of "stuff".

We have ordered a new modem as our internet has just been terrible.  I'm not sure if Time Warner is throttling us again or if our equipment just needs to be updated.  I can't stay connected!!  The other day, I had to fill out the same form FOUR times!!  That is rather frustrating!  I am so glad that the new modem will be here on Wednesday and hopefully that will fix our connection issues!

So, I am sharing some gorgeous fall flowers with you today!  Enjoy!!

Hope all those folks down south do not have any more rain!!  They have had enough!!

Gosh, I hate when stuff breaks down all around the same time. They should learn to take turns!! Anywho, sometimes I'd be happier in a tiny house. Less stuff to break for sure. Hang in there!

That is a scary problem with the Jeep! Glad it is OK now! Those are beautiful pics. We got high speed Internet and then got a new router. It made a huge difference! We usually get well over 100 Mbs now.

Hi Jeanne, I'm so glad your hubby got home o.k. with no brakes and that your car is fixed. Love your mums and flowers. Here it is cold and misty today, not a day to be outside. Washing and waxing an RV does not sound like a fun thing to do today. We are hoping in a couple of years to get an RV and then we can vacation and take Hunter with us. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Noreen and kisses from Hunter to your girls.

Oh wow, that would have been scary with the brakes. Glad you made it back home safe and are all fixed now. Those mums are so pretty. I love seeing them in the fall

The flowers are just beautiful. Mom wants to get some pretty mums but she never has much luck with them.

That is terrible about the Jeep - glad you all made it home safely and that it is now fixed.

Those tiny houses are quite the topic out here too.
