They Are Settling In!

We are all getting used to each other and Romeo and Juliet have settled in to our routine pretty well.

I am still having issues with the "marking".  If you have a male dog and can offer any tips, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks and have a great Tuesday!

Hi Jeannie, They are so adorable! I also have issues with marking-Hunter doesn't mark here, but will "air mark" at our daughter's house. Other dogs come here and mark inside-which drives me crazy(I'm always watching Hunter when we are somewhere else). One of the reasons I hate carpet and thought I wouldn't get a male dog. Oh well, got to love them. No tips, but will be anxious to see if you got any good ones.
Hugs, Noreen

We're glad they're settling into your family already! Bummer on the marking. We've never been around boy dogs so we don't know anything about that.

We don't have problems with marking at our house BUTT our angel brother Leroy would do it when he was mad about something. Mom never get him to stop.

We are looking very relaxed and happy! Neither Mitch or Mackie ever marked so we can't offer any help.

I still have problems with Gibbs marking. It drives me crazy. You can try a belly band. It worked for my husbands daughters dog but not for Gibbs. They sell them at Pet Smart but you can make your own.

They are just so cute. We had trouble with our smaller dogs marking. Lightning did for a long time but stopped after we lost Phantom, maybe a hierarchy thing with males. But you don't have any males. Maybe try belly bands.

Thankfully, none of my male dogs have marked their territory indoors. We had a cat that did and it was horrible. I hope he stops once his is totally settled in.

Oh, they are so adorables! Sure does look like they are settling in just fine! Since Ma has only had female doggies, she's got no advice on the marking situation. Though, her Angel Annie liked to pee on any new doggie bed that came into the house! BOL (that was me chuckling....Ma was never too happy abouts that!)
I hopes you find a solution, those belly bands sound like a good idea to try.
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
