Seriously?? Going AWAY??

I do apologize for not being around much lately...I have been on another planet. Dying. Or at least, I felt like it.

Perusing around the web this evening, I have discovered that not only is Google Friend Connect going away...but so is Google READER! Now, this is a huge deal for me and I am quite sure, many of you as well. I had a mild heart attack after hearing this news and decided I had better hop to it and fond a fast answer!

Guess what Friends?? I have found my fix!! It might just work for you too! Hop on over to Feedly.com and it will AUTOMATICALLY input ALL your Google Reader Blogs! I am doin' my HAPPY DANCE now!! Crisis averted...at least for now.

While I was under the weather, the girlz do nothing but guard my bed. Most of the time anyway. Little Miss Independence...Chloe...decided to go check out her toy box in my office...this is one she hasn't been in lately.

Twitter it is...

I gave in and joined the Twitter crew. Well, actually I joined a year ago and forgot until I just signed in and they said I already had an account. My mind is going. Crap! So, I too have joined the ranks. One problem I have...I don't have text messaging as part of my plan. My husband sees no need to add it. So, all of my updates will have to come from my computer...until I can convince him otherwise. Sprint wants an extra $20 a month to add it. You see, my husband only uses his phone and computer when absolutely necessary. I guess I am the techno freak in this family! Maybe when he retires, he will become dependent? Nah....I don't think so. He has about a zillion other things he wants to catch up on. And NONE of them have anything to do with the computer.

My New Toy!

For a couple of months, I've been agonizing over which one of these two things to purchase...

A part of me wanted to go for this because it is SOOOOO cute!! And I know that Joy is really enjoying hers! Oh, and Frances has one of them which she just got too!


But in the midst of all my research....I ran across this little gem!!


The decision was real easy when I discovered that the RCA Small Wonder was on sale at Circuit City for just $79.99!! That's like half the cost of the Flip.

Based on the reviews that I've read, people are happy with the quality and ease of use of the Small Wonder...so I went for it...for a couple REALLY good reasons:

*Expandable Memory - Up to 5 hours of recording time with an SD Card...a plus if on a trip!

*It does have the ability to "capture" one frame into a .jpg image ... if you want to. Not that I would, but it does have the capability!

*I like the fact that it comes with an extender for the USB...for times when it's a little bit inconvenient to reach the USB port of your computer.

*Capability of using a tripod with it!

*A Small Wonder accessory, the Memory Maker Docking Station enables EZ201 users to dock their camcorder and burn DVDs from its stored videos while the recorder recharges.
