I Love Fall in the Adirondacks!!

I just love Fall around here! Everyone else seems to be complaining about the fact that summer is over. I'm not sad in the least. Fall is my all time favorite season. I love the sights and the smells. The pumpkins and the mums. Spiced Apple Cider. Hay Rides. Warm Days & Cool Nights. Camp Fires. S'Mores. Scooter Rides to look at the leaves. And the wildlife is something else!

These pics were taken from my front porch.

Fall is your favorite season? Fall is MY favorite season. I swear it's getting spooky already at how much we're alike. If we ever meet in person we're going to either hate each other because we're so much alike or love each other because we're so much alike! :o)

Sigh...I MISS fall. I've been away from it for about 4 years now...It's too bad Bermuda & Cayman don't have that beautiful fall foilage.

Awww, they're so beautiful!

Fall would be my favorite season too, if it just didn't lead into Winter.

Don't you just love the smell? The colours? The cool mornings warming into the perfect temperature?

Me too - I love fall.

I love the fall, too! Isn't it strange that while things are fading and dying, we feel invigorated!??? Ah well!

Don't forget about the "crunching" sound of leaves under your feet, or the feel of a warm, cozy sweater! How about snuggling up in a blanket to read a book! Or leaving the windows open until it is REALLY chilly in the house, knowing that a crackling fire in the stove or fireplace will soon take away that chill? Oh, I could go on and on!

When we go camping, we rarely build a campfire, cause we enjoy (NOT!) the smokey essence of everyone else's! However, this last time, we did make some nice fires and enjoyed them thoroughly! The air was so crisp, clear, and chilly, the fire was welcome!

It looks so beautiful up there...you must enjoy it so much. I love the Adirondacks, too. But, then again, I could live quite well without a lot of conveniences. Cept the internet! How else could I blog!!!!!

I love fall too, although very short, still enjoyable. :)

Oh PS, my guess is that your fox is gone or the deer would not be near your porch?

Oh wow! Beautiful! We get one, maybe two deer in our yard every now and then but nothing like that.

Wonderful photos. I love fall too for the reasons you mentioned. I cherish each season as it comes and each time I think that season is my favourite. I am fickle that way.
