I found that I could find the energy... that I could find the determination to keep on going. I learned that your mind can amaze your body, if you just keep telling yourself, I can do it... I can do it... I can do it.
Over the weekend I was watching a show from last year on a race in the Alps. Quite a few teams all competing in activities like hiking, climbing, biking, one activity after another, one day after another for like 5 or 6 days. Each team had to do each activity together. Of course they were all super athletes in perfect physical shape, but at times you could see some of them really struggle. But where one person on a team was weak in one area another was strong. The course was grueling but they worked it together.
But some of them said that the physical issues became controlled by the mind and how they worked out the mental stuff. It was a very interesting show. I was tired just watching it. LOL Really, I probably started watching it in the first place because of the beautiful alpine scenery. Anyway... did it inspire me to get downstairs to the stationary bike and exercise?? Uh, NO. But I did manage to drag my big old tired butt upstairs to work on cards this weekend. Hey girl, did you get some yummy ones done?? Let's see some pics soon. My one camera totally wigged out but if the other one has charged batteries, I'll get some of mine up too. We should sooooo do a card swap sometime. Maybe after you get back from your travels???
J does that all the time. She always says, "I don't get sick". Sometimes she will start to get what we have, but she will deny it, and she doesn't really get it bad at all. Denial is a wonderful things ;-) .
