No More Palm Trees

Unfortunately, I have been very bad at blogging lately!! I have been spending an unbelievable amount of time downloading pics each day and uploading them to storage with captions. I didn't want to get home and have a zillion to do! Knowing that I will have a ton of cleaning to do...not just the house, but the RV will need a good sweep. We also plan to open the cottage within a couple of weeks.

We are currently in Kentucky. We stayed for two nights at Stone Mountain Park right outside Atlanta, Georgia. If you ever get the chance to go there, by all means....go! The place is amazing and I will have lots to blog about individual side trips as the days go by.

The weather has fortunately held up quite well as we've been driving. There are many, many parts of this country that are in major need of rain. There has been a Fire Alert in every single place we have been for the past several weeks. I feel sad to report that we saw some pretty careless people tending campfires. But that's a whole other story.

I give you a few pics of my day today...Ciao for now!!

Aw, don't feel bad about not blogging! After all, you are on vacation!!!! And, as comfortable as your RV is, there is so much awaiting you when you get home....I know how that goes!

The weather here has been WAY too warm and believe me, we also need rain badly! I noticed the soil has deep cracks in it all over. NOT a good sign.

It looks like the "kids" are having a good time! Did the girlies meet another Bichon?

Enjoy your time out...seems like trips end far too abruptly! I am thinking *I* need a vacation right now.....

Looks like a mini Bichon Bash! Don't fret about the blogging, be in the moment. Life's meant for living first, blogging second, photo download/uploads in between!

I envy your road trip and know you are enjoying yourself! Love the "sniffing" butts with new friends photo the best. Our little bichon loves her own butt!
