It's a work in progress. Sigh.
Just one more thing to add to the craziness of the season.
I said I was going to keep it simple.
Then I started unpacking and trying to pick out which ones to use.
Gave Up.
Using MOST of the indoor decorations!!
At least I decided NOT to put up the two little villages...

oh, come on Jeanne... put up those two villages. If I could do it, YOU can do it.
Love the purple pile, and that peppermint candy dish is adorable!
It IS work, but the feelings it gives you is worth it!
Happy decorating!!
hughugs
it's beginning to look alot like christmas
VERY nice! Mom isn't really decorating this year (something about worrying about Abby chewing on the strings of lights...), but if we're lucky, she'll actually get Christmas cards ready to go tonight!

PeeEss: My granny and grandpa have this 'Dickens Village' set of houses that has grown over the year to be the Dickens Metropolis - they leave it up for 6 months because it is such a pain to put up and take down!
Cool decorations! Have fun putting everything up! Did I hear Christmas music coming from your house?
You've got your holiday thing all wrong!
You have to start going AWAY during the Christmas season. Not coming home for it.
Then you don't have to decorate at all! Like moi! No putting up - no packing away. Easy!
Mind you - I've seen some heavily decorated RV's.
WOW ... that is a lot of
decorations.. but how nice when you
finish. And yes.. might as well
put out the villages too !!
I love those bowls of balls! It all makes the house so festive and warm!
I got out our winter decorations last week and packed one item away for Goodwill. I also packed away a couple fall items in the Goodwill box. Can't fit new stuff in if I don't get rid of something.
with grands in the house I am going to put up a tree ....
I've not done that for a few years. It was much better going to my daughter's house for Christmas and enjoying their efforts.
Hate to admit it, but I am so overwhelmed by so many things this year, Michelle did our decorating.
