Welcome to February....NOT!

Cities Potentially Impacted:
Detroit | Buffalo | Syracuse | Rochester | Burlington | Concord | Manchester | Augusta

Impacts
:
Although winds will not be as much of an issue in the Northeast, this storm still means business. Upstate New York and all of northern New England can expect at least 10 inches of snow from this storm. Some spots may experience a snowfall nearing 2 feet!

This will likely be a heavy, wet snow, much like the snowstorm that struck Washington, D.C., last week. The weight of the snow could bring down tree limbs and power lines.

YEAH.

This is NOT what we need.  A little side trip to Bermuda seems like a really good idea right now...don't you think??

The girlz do not like the wind or the ice...Chloe had a real problem with her leg last time it was icy.

But they LOVE the snow!

So much snow!!! We're in the middle of a heat wave... I'm melting! There's also a tropical cyclone set to hit Australia very soon... Argh!!!!
Quick question... Do the girls get cold feet walking around in the snow? Lulu hates walking on wet grass... couldn't imagine her walking through snow :)
Love your new banner.

Jeanne,

I'm awaiting the Big Storm here in Michigan. My husband is in Milwaukee on business, so I'm going to have to dig out on my own. This could prove to be interesting....I don't know how to operate the snow blower!

Stay warm!

Ciara found out yesterday that ice on the deck is NOT fun. She refused to come back up the steps to come inside. Mom had to sand the deck to get her in. It was all glazed over. But today will be a huge snow event. We pups are thrilled but the humans are not so happy. We hope this massive storm keeps you all safe.

I am fine with the snow as long as I don't have to drive in it, it's the nice that I really don't like.
Hope you and the girls stay safe and warm:)

That would have affected me b/c I came from Detroit and remember those days. I miss the family but am much happier here. The weather is so fine, but those northern locales are pretty too. I'm just not a fan of winter and gray days.

I'm so glad you like my redesign and are back! I really left Blogger all wrong - I should have stayed put - it's a long story... but I'm back and going forward!

If you do come down to the Flager Beach area and would like to meet me for lunch, I'd love to show you my little corner of the world, atlantic beachlife. I am in Atlantic Beach; you could have lunch here and then continue your driven down A1A instead of I-95...check it out on the map. I'd love to meet you and I think Flagler Beach is probably an hour south of me, under normal traffic conditions. A1A would be the most scenic way. The husbands are the ones who won't want to stop, "let's just get there!" but since you've been my visitor for so long I'd sure love to meet you and show you my little town. Have lunch at one of our restaurants; it's right at the beach - and you'd be on your way!
