I was really looking forward to going to the Farmer's Market today! Today was Opening Day for the 2011 Season!!
Unfortunately, there was not very many vendors there!! Only SIX today. Perhaps it was the heat that kept them away?? Not sure.
We did pick up some goodies though...
My favorite salad dressing of all time!!
The vegetables were all great as we sampled several of them this evening for dinner!!
The one thing missing from this particular trip was MY FAVORITE ICED Coffee Guy!!! He is called The Dalai Java!! He recently opened up a gift shop in Canandaigua
So....we drove into town to have a cup of serious enlightenment!!
I personally LOVE the iced coffee that he serves! It is very special!!
If you have not yet checked out the Dalai Java...do so....you will NOT regret it...I promise!
Guess I'm mixing it up a bit...not doing Wordless Wednesday this week!! Too much to talk about!! We also went to the movies...more on that in another post!!
Happy Wednesday!!

I love farmers markets.. It's early in the season for produce, that might be why you don't see many yet. I love the name of that coffee guy!....
We've been chatting about our visits to the Farmer's Market - so fun! Especially for Havi. I understand your coffee dilemma, our favorite Rugelach man has mysteriously disappeared!

Our Farmer's Market actually only had four vendors and one was selling soap and the other maple syrup. That didn't leave many veggies for picking. About all Mom got that was worth buying were some baby beets. The rest was all greens and the vendors had already bagged them in plastic. With the heat, they all looked quite wilted. Hope next week is better - looks like you got some nice veggies there - everything looks so fresh and crisp.

I have to make it more of a habit to check out farmers markets here, I bet I can find some goodies - thank you for the inspiration darling :-)
I will be happy when our backyard farm becomes more bountiful. James has replanted 3 times cause the farmer next to us keeps killing it with chemicals. Enjoy your delicious veggies!
Farmers Markets are wonderful! There's lots of them around here in the summer and way too many choices! That dressing looks amazing! Now to check out The Dalai Java.
