Thoughtless Thursday: Aftermath of the Storm Edition

We were dealing with the aftermath of severe storms that passed by here last night...poor LadyBug was absolutely terrified...and miserable.  She was just a mess.  Ben and I had run out to the movies and the worst of the storm unfortunately hit while we were gone!!  We had no warning!!  So...we raced home...only to find very scared pups!!  Chloe does pretty well, except when LadyBug is a nervous wreck...it appears to rub off on Chloe!

We lost a big branch out of our beloved birch tree...so Ben was out chopping that down today...and bring all of the branches that were scattered about to the dump today.

LadyBug was EXHAUSTED and not much help today.  Of course, we were too!!

Yeah...Chloe looks a bit tired doesn't she??  No interest in supervising today!!

As I type this, yet another Flash Flood Warning has been issued...not what anybody needs!!

Oh no we are praying no more. We had a horrid one on Tuesday and we had hail and really bad thunder and lightning and we were in the park. It was really scary and we got drenched from head to foot. Have a tremendous Thursday and stay safe.

Best wishes Molly

Glad to hear you didn't have too much damage from those storms. Sounds like we aren't quite out of the woods yet. Stay safe.

Eeesh. Stay safe! I see those storms on the news they always worry me!

So sorry about the scary storm. Bailey is terrified of storms and Katy usually gets upset that Bailey's upset. What's odd is they never scared him when he was younger. As he's aged storms bother him more.
Rest up and we hope that Flash Flood warning stays just a warning.

We had one heck of a storm last night too! It was crazy and I had three unhappy huskies for a while! It doesn't look as bad as yours though, it didn't hit our trees or anything, just a ton of rain, thunder and lightening.

"We had no warning!!"

Yes Jeanne, having in Florida for 20 years, I can tell you it's the same way. Often a storm with come in very fast, without any warning.

Glad to hear the girlz are going okay.

(((((( Chloe and Lady Bug ))))))

Also, I'm glad to hear your house was okay.

Btw, the area that you live is so beautiful! Such a wide, open space and gorgeous trees!

Have a terrific Thursday, my friend!
X to you and the girlz!

We had a crazy storm blow through here last night at record speeds. The storm was moving so fast with tons of rain and a little lightning and thunder. Thankfully, none of that bothers me. So glad everyone is all right and there was only minor debris to clean up.

Poor baby. Rarely do we get those storms but if I ever hear thunder, I shake and scream. Mom holds me so tight I could barely breath

Oh no! Poor LadyBug! We've heard thunder just 5 times since we've been borned 8 years ago and it scairt us bad! We don't get storms here so we can't imagine going through such a bad storm but we're so glad everybody is okay and there wasn't worse damage!

We heard about your storms on the news. We saw a story about a parking lot that just collapsed. We hope the girls are doing better today.

Well, it's so very nice to meet you! I've been keeping up to date on all the storms in NY. I still read online the D&C and 13 News. The damage is amazing. It sure has been a wild year for snow and storms. We live in Fairport in the summer and Haines City, FL in the winter. My Dad has lived with us (us = me, hubby, Lily & Muffin) for 6 years now since Mom died. My hubby retired 3 years ago and enjoys being a snow bird now. It's been a miserable winter here with all of Dad's new health problems. We're trying to get them all under control (the best we can) so that we can get him back to NY. Me thinks them Golden Years are NOT so Golden! I'm going to go and add you now to our Blog List so that we can be your newest followers. Hope you all have a pawsome day!
Hugs,
Lily Belle, Muffin & Mommy Kim
