Sepia Saturday: Cottage Views and LadyBug Update

Here are a few shots I took today! Many people have asked how LadyBug is. She is MUCH better than she was, but not back to her old self again. She is still very tired and quite lethargic. She would like to eat her normal amount, but if I give it to her, she cannot digest it all. I suspect this is a process...and it will be quite some time before she will be able to eat her normal amount of food. She has lost quite a bit of weight and as you can see in the photo, she has also lost quite a bit of muscle mass in her facial structure. Her eyes look better to me, but are also not totally back to normal yet. Miss Chloe cannot quite figure out why her sister is not as active. She just does not feel like playing right now. I cannot blame her!

This has been quite an experience for us all!

I'm glad to hear she is improving. I can imagine that something like that would be exhausting.
Lovely views and I like the way you did the edges on the pictures

Your pictures are beautiful!
That's good news about Lady Bug. We're happy to hear she is slowly coming around. It's always so hard when our babies don't feel well.
Happy Saturday!

Hi Jeanne, I'm so glad to hear that Ladybug is doing better; I'm sure it will take her quite awhile to eat normally and also gain her strength back. I hope you are not worrying about her as much(silly me, we always worry about our babies). Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs, Noreen & Hunter

Hi Y'all!

Just being able to eat must be wonderful, Ladybug...It will take a long time before you can hold a normal ration. Small meals, eaten more frequently was something my Human learned to eat after having meningitis when she was in college. This also held my Human Papa in good stead when recovering after a long siege with gastroenteritis.

Still sending you lots of POTP.

Beautiful photos.

Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog

Lots of hugs to LadyBug. I hope the process continues, as fast as possible.

Those are gorgeous photos of the sky over the water.

To look at water in a photo is hypnotic for me, I must have been a fish in a former life! Beautiful - thanks for sharing
