Thoughtless Thursday: Cottage Flowers

It has been SO hot and humid that Chloe and I both have been struggling! I have asthma and I believe Chloe's allergies are getting worse with age.  We are spending all of our time inside in the A/C because we literally cannot breathe out there! Tonight I actually had to give Chloe Children's Benadryl. She was really struggling with her breathing tonight. The Benadryl has finally kicked in and she is finally asleep. LadyBug is still in recovery mode...she is still sleeping MUCH more than she used to.  We have been told it can take up to a year before NORMAL returns.

Here are a few of our pics from today...

the hot humid weather does take a toll on breathing and I can relate to allergies getting worse with age because mine sure have. The flowers in that first picture are so pretty

OMG...it's the same here, Jeanne! Yesterday the heat and humidity were so bad that by the time I walked to work, I was dipping in sweat. It looked like someone had squirted me down with a water hose. The temperatures here yesterday reached 101!

Great photos! Love the colors!

Stay cool, my friend!

X to you and the girlz!

Oh My gosh, I hope everyone feels better soon. Come out west were there is no humidity and cooler temps.

Pretty flowers! It is HOT here, 99 today, but NOT humid. Mom says humidity is terrible!

Such pretty flowers. I hope your allergies don't ruin your 4th of July weekend. I take children's Benadryl too for my allergies.

I'm so sorry that you are having problems. Our heat and humidity make staying outdoors for any length of time difficult. Take it easy and enjoy your holiday! ♥

Beautiful flowers. So sorry about the allergies. Been thinking we might have to have Katy tested.
