I am still paying for being gone yesterday so I took the girls for a stroll down by the dock...which they LOVE! On the way, we passed a few gardens!
It was one of those perfect days...sunny, warm temps about 70 degrees and no wind!
I'm pretty sure that LadyBug was trying to figure out how to get the fish out of the water...she is on her leash because she got in trouble AGAIN for rolling!! She absolutely loves to roll in the worst smelling stuff. Like goose poop. Ugh!! So, I made her stay on the leash. She still TRIES to roll, but it definitely makes it more difficult for her!
Chloe was surveying HER territory...she was looking for the golden that lives a couple doors down from us. She isn't around much during the week, but she always looks for her. Her name is Biscuit and I wrote about her on the blog last week.
We did have an interesting thing happen today...we were eating dinner and something caught Ben's eye out the window as we sit at the top of the hill. He spotted a GROUNDHOG hanging out in my neighbor's garden! We have been here 25 years and have never, ever seen a groundhog here!! So, we watched as he darted from garden to garden. Then, he meandered across the driveway to our other neighbor's and actually walked down the steps! We were so surprised!! Have you ever seen a groundhog take the stairs??
Who knew they could even DO that?? BOL!!
Happy Friday!!

that was a wonderful friday-walk... even when LadyBug had no chance to try an eau de geese on her furs :o) Is there any weather lore for a groundhog on stairs, like the one with the groundhog and the shadow?
Looks like a pretty place to check out girls! LadyBug, aren't moms spoilsports?

Your flowers are just gorgeous, girls! We've had woodchucks in our garden before but we haven't had one in a long time and we've never seen one climb stairs!
So very beautiful!! We always love visiting the flowers (and property) at your lake!

Yeah, I would say a leash is in order to stop goose poop rolling....lol Can't say that I have ever seen a groundhog take the stairs.
Pawsome flowers!
The gardens are looking good. Millie also seems to be able to find the one spot of stinky stuff in our back yard and roll in it.
absolutely gorgeous!
