As you all know, we are preparing to leave the North Country, and earlier in the week, we were informed that there was a moose sighting just down the road.
Well...he has been on the move...so to speak! We live on a road that leads directly to a causeway...then an island. It just so happens that there is a KOA Campground on that island. Apparently Mr. Moose has decided that he likes to wander...he has been spotted on the OTHER side of the island...just walking in the water!
I will definitely take precautions when taking the girls out late at night!! I wouldn't want to run in to this guy! YIKES!
I would like to thank my neighbor, Dave Lyman, for these pictures...he is a charter boat captain and was only about 200 feet away from the moose taking these pics!

well there's something you don't spot every day. The only moose I've seen up close was a head hanging on a wall in my uncles house.
I would like to see Mr. Moose, but from a distance :o) maybe he is on the way to a howl-i-day and will stay on your camp ground for a while ?
I love moose. I love the photos in b&w, the first one could be in the moonlight.
Mouse are hard to photograph so bravo to him!
We wouldn't want to run into a moose in the dark either, girls!
