Purina Pro Plan #BRIGHTMIND 7+ is Healthy Nutrition for Senior Dogs!

Chloe and LadyBug are both senior Bichon Frises.  Chloe just turned 12 and LadyBug is 11 years old.  I have NO idea where the time has gone!  With that in mind, it is important to be aware of the changes that they are going through as they age.  Purina ProPlan Bright Mind 7+ Formula was created with enhanced botanical oils shown to promote alertness and mental sharpness in dogs age 7 and older.  The food also includes glucosamine to help support joint health and mobility.  Vitamin A and linoleic acid is included for healthy skin and coat.

According to the experts at Purina ProPlan, around the age of 7, the glucose metabolism in the dog's brain begins to change.  This change can affect memory awareness, learning and/or decision making.

Purina ProPlan discovered a way to promote mental sharpness and alertness in dogs over 7 through the use of nutrition and has just introduced the Bright Mind 7+ Formulas!  When dogs age 7 and older were fed food enhanced with botanical oils on a daily basis, their memory, attention span was enhanced.

When you begin feeding your dogs Purina ProPlan Bright Mind 7+ on a daily basis, you might notice differences in the way your dog interacts...their interest in playtime and perhaps their ability to cope and adapt to changes in their routines or environment.

Transitioning to Purina ProPlan Bright Mind 7+ is best accomplished by following the instructions on the back panel of the package.  Transition SLOWLY over a period of 7-10 days.

It is important for me to share with you the reasons I wanted to give Purina ProPlan Bright Mind 7+ a try!  As my girls have aged, I have noticed changes...as we all do...a slowing down, if you will.  I was looking for a food that would promote alertness and mental sharpness.  I want to bring back their SPARK!!    I am excited to see the results of our change to ProPlan Bright Mind 7+ as I truly hope to see noticeable behavior changes!  I would LOVE for them to be more alert and playful!  As time goes on, I will share with you my experience with ProPlan Bright Mind 7+!

I've notice that Purina has made a lot of effort in producing a wide variety of healthy choices. You no longer just see the Purina name on a plain old bag of dog or puppy chow. This sounds like a great product for senior dogs
