Major Damage to Ship Island from Katrina

Wow! It is amazing how much damage there was to Ship Island....off the coast of Mississippi from Katrina. The island was completely underwater...the Fort sustained some damage, the boardwalk had to be completely rebuilt. The beach itself doesn't look that much different, except the whole island is totally FLAT now!! No more of those beautiful dunes!! Hardly any Sea Oats...check it out...
