Thursday Thirteen

Take a walk through my Cottage Garden yard...I just love planting my flowers in late May and watching them grow all summer long. Of course, I plant pretty easy plants! The ones in my circular garden are perennials and I have had pretty good luck with them. My potted flowers are all different varieties and I change them pretty much every year.

A bird has decided to take up residence in this little house and I just don't have the heart to kick him out! He has worked very hard to make this nest. I can't even believe that he fits in there!

Ahhhhh....my Italian Basil...Fresh Herbs are the BEST!!

My Firecracker Plants!!

Enjoy!!

From ThursdayThirteen.com.....Next week will be the 100th edition of Thursday Thirteen! To celebrate, we would like to invite you to write about your thirteen favorite Thursday Thirteen posts.
You can write about thirteen of your own T13 posts, or you can write about the T13 posts of others that you’ve enjoyed. Be sure to link to each of the 13 posts you highlight so we can all check them out easily. This is optional. You can, of course, do your Thursday Thirteen post however you’d like.
We think this will be a great way of honoring 100 weeks of the most popular meme in the blogsphere. We are SO looking forward to seeing everyone’s favorite thirteens from the past!
Happy Thirteening!

Great list. I love your garden. I am currently working on getting some garden areas more maintenance free which is taking so... much work.

I don't blame you for not wanting to kick out the squatters. Some birds are just too sweet to evict. We had squirrel babies in the outhouse a couple years ago and I waited a couple months (when they were gone) until I pulled out the nest.

Thanks for your wonderful comments on my blog. Happy TT

Your plants are lovely! I share that pleasure. I am a rotten gardener, but it is so satisfying to plant something and watch it grow!!
