We are on our annual Road Trip! We just HAD to get out of the cold, wet, snowy, damp weather and find some BEAUTY... some flowers and green grass...and PALM Trees!!
When we left, the weather was OK...not great, but not terrible. There was still some snow piles around, but for the most part, the roads were clear.
Until we got to Pennsylvania!! Unbelievable!!
I am sure the girls were thinking...didn't we just leave this stuff behind???
We honestly could not believe how deep this snow was...and HEAVY!!
We were just hoping it wasn't going to stay around!!
It usually takes the girls a day or so to get used to "driving days". They are a little on the restless side at first. It was NOT fun cleaning off their feet as underneath that snow, there was a ton of CLAY that made little clay pawprints all OVER the floor and I spent the next hour down on the floor trying to clean up the mess!
The girls were more than thrilled when we stopped for an overnight in North Carolina. They have been at this park many times and LadyBug was anxious to get out and EXPLORE! Chloe was content just to hang by the RV.
I think they were just as glad as we were to see GRASS and to be able to spend some quality time outside!
Everyone went to bed early that night! We were all exhausted!!
I was even taking pictures at the truck stops...see that GREEN stuff...maybe not perfect, but at the very least...it was GREEN!
Chloe was SO excited! She is my little traveler pup!! LadyBug is my walker...she loves to go out and check out the sights and sounds!!
Hope you are Seeing Beautiful today!!
Hope you are Seeing Beautiful today!!

Yeah that you got to get out. It is always nice to find the green grass again, and get out of the cold. Travel safe.

Jeanne, I'm happy to read that you're on your road trip and heading towards green and warmth! WOW, I can't believe the snow that's still in upstate PA?!?
Beautiful photographs!
Have a great time on your adventure, my friend!
X to you and the girlz
it's like magic that you can leave the snow behind and that you can travel to sun and palmtrees while staying still in your country :o) sadly our country is too small, we mostly have bad weather efurrywhere :o)

You girls look so happy! We thought you might be coming here but we don't have palm trees. We do have lots and lots of green though!
Hi Y'all!
Don't worry, it's comin' up summer here in the south...even in the mountains the green is climbin' fast. We'll be headin' back to the low country soon...not too sure about going back into the swelterin' heat. It's pretty hot here in the mountains.
Y'all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
The girls looks like they are having a great time already. The snow is gone in my part of Pennsylvania now. The grass has even turned a nice shade of green
Looks like you guys are having a great adventure. Safe Travels. Golden Woofs
Wow if you have to travel, that is the way to go!! Have a safe trip.

There's nothing better than a road trip!!! But your "car" is so much bigger than Mom's!!
Ha! We do enjoy traveling in our RV and wish we could do more of it! Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks so much Princess Leah! We have had intermittent rain but we are doing just fine! Thanks so much! xo
Yes, Sasha...we do enjoy traveling this way! If we didn't have the RV we wouldn't be traveling at all! We do not board the girls and they really do not do well with anyone other than me or my husband. I suppose some people might say they are a bit spoiled! :)
We are having an awesome adventure Sugar! Thanks so much for your good wishes! xo
We are hoping for more sunshine guys! The forecast this morning was for ten whole days of rain and thunderstorms!! It is looking better tonight...so we have all paws crossed! Thanks for the good wishes!
Yes, Ann, they love traveling in the RV! We are very glad as that's the reason we bought it! I am so glad to hear that the snow is gone now...it seemed as if winter was going to last forever!!
It is very hard for us to adjust to the temperatures in Florida! It is such a HUGE difference between NY and FL!! After we have been here for awhile, it gets a little easier, but it is nice to be able to jump back into the Air Conditioning!! Hope all's well with you Hawk!! xo
It's funny, but we can't remember where "here" is for you guys?? We do love palm trees and sand and sunshine!! It is so beautiful here...compared to the dreary, brown / black / white we were used to at home. It seemed as if winter was never going to end this year!! We have seen quite a bit of green here now!
Thanks for popping in to say hello! Happy Monday!!
Thanks Mitch and Molly! We would love to be able to share more, but internet is great in some parks and pretty much non-existent in some parks. We always book in parks that have wifi, but it is not reliable sometimes. That is very frustrating!! Sometimes I end up doing a post on my phone...they are usually VERY short...like a photo! It is beautiful here in FL right now and we sure are enjoying being out of the cold, dreary, snow!
Yes, Madi! We were in Roanoke Rapids! We always stay at the RV park there when we are heading south. It is right on the border. Is that anywhere near you? How fun it would be to see you!! We are having a blast just enjoying the sun, the warmth, the palm trees, the sand! So very different than snow and ice and cold!! xo
Thank you JoAnn! We are truly glad to be out of the snow!! Loving the palm trees, sand, and sun!
Yes, Easy, it is wonderful to be able to drive to visit palm trees and the ocean! We take our time and only drive about 350 miles per day. It is quite different than driving a car...more stressful! We do love traveling this way though and we certainly are enjoying sunshine, rather than frigid weather!! Hope you can escape to nicer weather sometimes!! xo
Thank you so much Ron! We are exploring a much different part of Florida than we have ever seen...the panhandle is quite different. There are parts of the drive that were just totally desolate!! The Spring Breakers were still here when we arrived, and the arrests for drugs and guns were THREE times higher than last year! It was unbelievably crowded with large groups of crazies!! We laid low and stayed to ourselves for a bit...until they were gone! We are truly enjoying the sunshine, the palm trees, the sand...it is SOOOO powdery white!! The water so very BLUE!! I just love the beach...there is something tranquil about it...it soothes the soul! Hope all's well with you, my friend!! xo
Thanks Rachel and Speedy! We are trying to keep you guys updated, but wifi is on and off at best! Hope all is well with you guys!
Thanks Mary! Yes, we are SO glad to be here...the sunshine, the sand, the ocean! It is good for the soul!! We did have a bit of a problem with our brakes when we arrived here, but we are hoping that my husband has fixed it...otherwise we may be making a detour! That is the downside of not having a car! We love renting as it is much easier...and cheaper than purchasing a tow system. Fortunately, we carry insurance so if we do have to have the RV towed in for repairs, we can stay in a hotel. I am REALLY hoping that doesn't happen!
We are Seeing Beautiful each and every day here Oz! It is truly amazing how much the sand, the sun, the palm trees, the ocean...soothes the soul!! We just love it! We are also seeing much more beauty since the Spring Breakers have vacated! Ha!!
Thanks so much Molly!! We are really hoping that the weather will hold...the forecast this morning was calling for TEN days of thunderstorms and a TON of rain!! Just a little north of here actually got SEVEN inches of rain and some of the roads are flooded. Unbelievable. Here's to sunshine and flowers and NO RAIN!! :)
Speedy has had a few adventures too, everybody is well here, have a great time
