Yes, it is...time to start decorating for the holidays! Most of you have probably already started, but I am just beginning!
Yesterday, while grocery shopping, I picked up this cute little Christmas Cactus.
I hope I can keep it alive as I do NOT have a green thumb!
I am joining the Thoughtless Thursday blog hop hosted by Ruckus the Eskie and Barking from the Bayou.

That's purrty!
Your post reminded Mom that she needs to take a peek at her two Christmas cacti - she hides them in a dark closet at the end of September to try to get them to bloom for Christmas. Yours is beautiful.

Our mom doesn't have a green thumb for houseplants either. She can't remember to water them.
I won't put up any Christmas decorations till after Thanksgiving. I had a Christmas cactus for quite a while before I killed it. I don't have a green thumb either but that was one plant that survived longer than any others
My momma luvs Christmas cacti!

Jeanne, you're WAY ahead of me because I haven't decorated yet. I will be putting up my miniature tree on Thanksgiving Eve this year. I don't decorate much in my apartment because it's so small, however, I add little touches of holiday decor.
What a beeeeautiful and festive cactus. Love the color!
Have a super weekend, my friend!
X to you and the girlz
I am pulling the Christmas buckets out of storage tomorrow!
Good luck with your Christmas Cactus!!
That is so pretty. Mommy doesn't have a green thumb either and I think plants are scared of her.

Oh, I have one of these but it hasn't flowered for many years. I feel bad I haven't kept up maintaining it since it was a gift from my husband. On the other hand, I religiously take care of my orchid, which was from my father's memorial service.
I love Christmas Cactus plants, their beautiful flowers are a great relief from the cold Winter. Enjoy them!
