Christmas Prep Underway...

I have been working on trying to get a bunch of my gifts ready for the groomer, the mailman, and several other miscellaneous people that we usually give to over the holidays.

I finally finished getting all of the cookies baked and into the jars...and actually finished decorating those jars!!

The girls were supposed to be in these pictures...but they got TOO tired and went to bed...

Max was the only one keeping me company!!

Introducing......Max!

Max is our seasonal friend who will be joining us for the Christmas Holiday Season!

This is the first year in over 20 years of living in this house that we have not had a real tree.  Imagine our surprise when we opened the box of the brand new tree and look who we found....it was MAX!!

  Max is a bit bigger than the average Elf on the Shelf...he is of the plush variety.

The girls are not quite sure WHAT to make of him yet...we shall see!!

He has been hanging around all evening and even jumped up in to the tree for a spell.

We are just trying to get the thing set up!

More to come as the days unfold and Max becomes a regular member of our household...
