I see beauty every single day in my neighborhood...enjoy!

Tin Pan Galley

Tin Pan Galley in Sackets Harbor, NY has been one of my most favorite restaurants for YEARS!  

My daughter came to visit for my birthday...she came early...as it is actually tomorrow!  So, we headed out to Tin Pan Galley for a fabulous dinner!

I was so happy she came to visit and we got to spend some quality time together.

I had the Thai Steak Dinner Salad and Michelle had the Chicken Caesar Dinner Salad.  Both of them were absolutely delicious!!

If you ever get the chance to go there...

I highly recommend it!

Seeing Beautiful: The Sackets Harbor Edition

It is my opinion that everything must be based upon an extremely simple idea; and it is my opinion that this idea, once we have finally discovered it, will be so compelling, so beautiful, that we will say to one another, yes, how could it have been any different.

Sackets Harbor for the Day

We spent Father's Day wandering around one of my most favorite little towns...Sackets Harbor!  They have done SO much in terms of revitalizing this small town in the years since we have been coming here.  Many of the shops in town have been closed due to the fact that it is so difficult to stay in business through the winter months...they have to make all of their money during the summer tourist season.

The landscaping and flowers are just beautiful...even the street lamp posts are decked out in tiny twinkling lights.

So, here are a few pics of our day...

Now...I happened to notice this place...HARBOR PAWS Dog Grooming!  I spoke with the owner and she is going to groom the girls for me!  I am excited but I'm sure they won't be!!

A Peek at Sackets Harbor

We have been coming to our cottage for years...over 20 to be exact.  One of my most favorite things to do is to visit Sackets Harbor...a little neighboring town.  Sackets is a quaint little village with just the right amount of little boutiques and restaurants...even a little coffee shop named Chrissy Beanz!  No summer would be complete without a stroll on Main Street.
