The Chewy Solid Gold Tiny Tots Treats are Superb!!

http://www.chewy.com/dog/solid-gold-tiny-tots-lamb-jerky-dog/dp/37353

**Disclosure:  These treats were provided to me in exchange for my honest review**

Guess who made a delivery at our house??  CHEWY!!

Solid Gold's Lamb Tiny Tots are made with lamb, brown rice, oats, tapioca, cinnamon, and rosemary.  The girls went CRAZY when the box arrived!  Then when I opened it...this happened...

All kinds of gymnastics were performed to see if she could reach that bag!!
Do you see her licking her chops??

In the end, she knew I was going to let her try them anyway...I swear she actually knows and understands the letters C H E W Y!!  She also knows that the man in the brown truck with the brown suit on usually delivers boxes that are for HER!!

Miss Chloe is VERY smart that way!

LadyBug enjoyed the treats just as much as Chloe did.   EIGHT paws up from this household for the Solid Gold TinyTots!!

We highly recommend BOTH Chewy and the Solid Gold Tiny Tots Lamb Treats!!

Tasty Tuesday: The Furry Friends Edition

Homemade mini hearts for pups
Yields 10 mini cakes

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup butter (or 1/4 cup vegetable oil)
1/4 cup all-natural peanut butter
1 cup shredded carrots
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 tablespoons all-natural honey
1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk

OPTIONAL....For the frosting:

8 ounces of low-fat cream cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a mini heart cake pan with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside.
Mix the flour and baking soda. Add the peanut butter, vanilla, honey and oil/butter and stir. Add the buttermilk, 1/4 cup at a time. Stir in carrots.
Spoon the mixture into the mini heart cavities, filling each one three-quarters full. Bake for at least 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.

If you choose to add the frosting...they DO look prettier with the frosting on them!
Beat the cream cheese, vanilla and cinnamon together. Once the cakes have cooled, frost. Drizzle melted peanut butter on top or top with additional shredded carrots.
