We spent Father's Day wandering around one of my most favorite little towns...Sackets Harbor! They have done SO much in terms of revitalizing this small town in the years since we have been coming here. Many of the shops in town have been closed due to the fact that it is so difficult to stay in business through the winter months...they have to make all of their money during the summer tourist season.
The landscaping and flowers are just beautiful...even the street lamp posts are decked out in tiny twinkling lights.
So, here are a few pics of our day...
Now...I happened to notice this place...HARBOR PAWS Dog Grooming! I spoke with the owner and she is going to groom the girls for me! I am excited but I'm sure they won't be!!
I have MANY more pics that I'll share in another post!
We have some flowers here so we will join Dory in her Friday Blog Hop!

I agree it is such a beautiful place... and I would love to live in this red brick house...
Our favorite thing to do is to find those quaint little shops and towns

Sackets Harbor is beautiful! The poor girls.
what a pretty place. Is this close to where you live?
Jeanne and girls, What a beautiful place. Hope you are having a wonderful summer; mine has been so busy that it is hard to get around to blogs. Sending love your way. Hunter sends kisses for the girls.

What a cute little town!
Isn't it adorable? We just love going over there!
It is a really quaint town...and we truly enjoy going over there! Thanks for stopping in to say hello!
It really is a fun place to hang out...although it has changed throughout the years..it is always very picturesque!
Hi there Noreen! So glad you stopped by! We do love Sackets Harbor...it is only about ten minutes from our cottage so we go there often. It has been an unbelievably crazy busy summer for us this year too. Sending love right back at ya and hugs to Hunter and to you!
Ann, it is SO pretty! I have to do another post with the rest of the pics I took that day...it was just perfect weather and it's such a cute place to just browse the shops or grab a coffee and people watch! It is only about ten minutes from our cottage...by car. If we take the boat, it takes a bit longer. But, it is close enough that we can go often!
It really IS beautiful! I am really hoping that this groomer works out. It is SO difficult to find someone that I trust and actually does a good job. I try to do them myself, but I am not good at it...and I usually need professional assistance! The hardest part is the shaping of the head and legs...I am just not comfortable doing it. The girls give me a hard time, but the groomers tell me that they are great for them...actually falling asleep on the grooming table!
I KNOW Easy! Isn't that red brick house just beautiful! I have lots more pics I took that day...I just have to do a separate post with more photos. I'm not sure what is going on with Blogger as it seems that this post actually posted twice. Weird! Have a great weekend!!
