When It Snows...
We are fortunate this year in that we did not get the amounts of snow that we normally get! There are many people complaining because they didn't get to ski as much as they would like. I am SO ready for winter to be done and over with.
I am ready to get out of here and in to a place with Palm Trees and Sunshine!
Ben went to check on the cottage and found that things are looking good this year, so far. Which is a very good thing.
These photos were taken a couple of years ago when we had to go shovel off the roof!
Sure am glad we don't have to do that very much!!

Have We Turned A Corner?
Chloe simply could not wait to get IN the RV and make sure that everything was still in order after the winter...she is sitting in one of her favorite places!
We would all like to THINK we have turned a corner...the temps here were almost 70 yesterday and we are all tired of the dreary winter and ready to get going on our spring activities!
The girls have been longing to go out and explore in the yard...and they finally got a chance to.
We were able to get the RV uncovered FINALLY. Tomorrow, the real test...to see if it actually will move! When we winterized it, it would start, but would not MOVE. Ben ran the codes on it and it could be anything from not too expensive to REALLY expensive to fix.
Another thing we were able to accomplish is...getting my scooter started! I have been waiting for the start of Scooter Season!! Ben took it for a quick ride to make sure it was working properly...it certainly should be...it is still under warranty as I just purchased it in June of last year.
I rode it around the yard about a zillion times...I think I put about five miles on it! Ha!

Our Easter Day!
I have always enjoyed coloring eggs...and still do! For the past eight years, we have been on the road down south for Easter and I didn't color any...so I made up for it this year!
Here is an assortment of bunny ears that the girls have worn in previous years...
Chloe stayed up late decorating with me...she is so curious to see what is going to come out next! Both of the girls absolutely LOVE boiled eggs...so when they are placed within range...it is a BIG deal!!
The minis came out for Easter! If anyone is interested in having one of the minis custom made, please let me know and I will be happy to pass along the information. My friend does a wonderful job on these! She even managed to capture the exact expressions of Chloe and LadyBug's personalities! She will do other breeds...not just Bichons!
Ben was in charge of opening up a couple of the packages that the Easter Bunny brought for the girls. They love being in the middle of all the excitement! I was going to have an egg hunt for them, but we had reservations for dinner and I just ran out of time! The weather was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for better weather for Easter Sunday.
As most of you know, we always spent holidays at Steamboat Landing here in Canandaigua, but since they closed the restaurant and actually tore down the building, we had to find a new favorite spot. We have chosen Bristol Harbour and it is just perfect! The food is always very, very fresh and the service is perfect. The views are just to die for! The restaurant is under new management and is undergoing major renovations so I was not able to get any photos overlooking the lake as they have most of the backside of the restaurant torn apart. They are building new walkways and patios...it will be beautiful when it is completed.
Up next for tomorrow, I have a few more photos of the girls enjoying their day! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

#SimplyCrepes Celebration!
As many of you know, January is a BIG Birthday month here in our household! January birthdays are my mom, my sister in law, my husband, my daughter, and Chloe Girl!
One of the things we really love to do is celebrate my husband's birthday at Simply Crepes right here in our hometown! They have THE best crepes...both dinner crepes and dessert crepes.
The interior is very nice...reminiscent of a french countryside! Since I am French...I feel right at home here!!
The restaurant is usually very crowded as it is rather small and they do not take reservations so we always go early so we can get in and out before we have to wait.
I love the exposed wood and the chandeliers...and the fireplace mantel is always decorated for the season...this time I didn't get an "up close" picture, but it is decked out for Valentine's Day!
This was one of their new dishes on the menu...they change it up to go with the season. We have not yet tried this one...although I have had their other Nutella Crepes which are delicious.
Ben had an entree that was kind of an asian variation...it was VERY tasty with a bit of a coconut twist!
I had my usual Mediterranean...it is made with marinated chicken and feta cheese. Delicious also!!
We usually get a couple different types of dessert crepes and split them...The top one is made with fresh strawberries and vanilla bean ice cream.
Still enjoying this fabulous dessert!!
This is an oreo cookie dessert crepe and also new on the menu so we thought we would give it a try! It was excellent!
Nothing is better than after dinner coffee! They serve our local Finger Lakes Coffee!
Back home to open a few gifts!
And a few different views of the dining room.
I highly recommend this restaurant! We often celebrate birthdays and anniversaries here and we have always been very pleased with both the quality of food and the service!
