#Seresto Collars are Protecting Us in New York State!!

Year-round canine disease protection is such an important topic and today I would like to remind you about a new kind of flea and tick protection by Seresto, the manufacturers of Advantage, Advantix, and Frontline.

The clinical signs of anaplasmosis in dogs are often similar to those of Lyme disease. The symptoms may include joint pain, lethargy, and lameness. Other possible clinical symptoms include fever, swollen lymph nodes, depression and weight loss. There have been cases where dogs appear to have a bloody nose. There is no vaccine available to reduce the risk of anaplasmosis, so year-round tick control is the most effective way to reduce the risk of infection.  Here is where the Seresto collar comes in!!

The forecast is also the collective expert opinion of respected parasitologists who engage in ongoing research and data interpretation to better understand and monitor disease transmission and changing life cycles of parasites.
