Hoarding. In General.

Tonight. It hit me. I think I must need some sort of Intervention. Or perhaps I should volunteer to be on the show, Hoarders.

I went to Michaels tonight specifically to pick up some Harley Davidson stickers to make my SIL a card for her birthday. She is in to that stuff. They did not have any at my little store, and told me I'd have to go to one of the larger stores that carry more inventory. One would think I could have just walked out. Nope. I had to check out what was on SALE. I had to browse! I had to go directly to the Martha Stewart section...because I love her crafts! Then, I had to check out the little dollar bins. Oh...and just for good measure...scrapbook paper was on sale four for ONE dollar!! How on earth could I pass THAT up??

So, I managed to fill up a small basket full of items...you know...they were on SALE! Then, I get into a discussion with the woman at the register. Told her I think I should just volunteer for the show Hoarders. She laughed, and said...anyone who is in to papercrafts of ANY kind...qualifies for that show!

I didn't feel so bad after that!

Creating & Celebrating!

I have done a bit of creating lately! I love to just sit down with some paper and go to town! We were celebrating our anniversary, so I wanted to make some things to celebrate the event.

We also went to one of our favorite places in Canandaigua...Simply Crepes!! I had the Thai Beef...same thing as always...but I LOVE it! Ben had the Seafood Crepe. Both were SUPERB as usual!! Their dessert crepes are to die for. Seriously, I think I could go on a crepe diet for the rest of my life...you can put ANYTHING inside of a crepe and it will taste DELISH!!

Just a Quick Project

I've been working on several paper projects lately...this is just one of the ones I am currently playing with....I haven't glued anything down yet and am not sure if I'm going to switch it up a bit!

They will get done. Maybe not always on time...but they will get done!!

Lost Mojo, Retail Therapy AND the SATC2 Movie Review

I have a bunch of things on my mind today...I've been feeling a little like I've lost my creative mojo lately...no idea why, but I NEED to get it back.  It's here somewhere....just have to FIND it!!!

So...I did what I usually do...

I went to TARGET!!  I just love Target!!!  It's one of my HAPPY Places!!

Don't waste your time going to the new SATC 2 movie....

As much as I REALLY, REALLY wanted to see it and looked forward to seeing it for like two years...

It is NOT worth it.  I will not be purchasing this movie for my collection.  Yes, I did enjoy seeing "the girls" again and I loved all the fashion and the scenery and the AIDEN!!!

The script was AWFUL.  Terrible!!! 

Don't go see it.  OK.....well.....maybe check it out on DVD...RedBox!

Feeding My Addiction

It could be worse. It could be MUCH worse. I have a paper addiction and have purchased a few things to feed that particular addiction...just thought I'd show y'all what I've been working on...

Never Enough Time

I really need some time to just PLAY with my new Christmas Present!! This is my fun new toy!!!!

I'm still in the midst of packing and putting away all of my Christmas decorations....I tend to go just a teeny bit OVERboard on the decorating...but hey...we only live once and I LOVE Christmas!! So, it takes me a couple of weeks to get all the stuff packed up and put away and I decorate for the next holiday...which is Valentine's Day. January is also a birthday month for me as both my husband and my daughter AND Chloe were all born in January!! (As was my Mom, but she has passed away now.) You probably don't know alot of people that decorate for every single holiday, but I do!! And I love it!!

I'm excited to find out all of the things my new Cricut machine can do...it certainly prints out some cool phrases, but the cartridges are a bit pricey...as I want them all. One at a time, Jeanne, ONE at a time....I keep repeating this!!!
