Sometimes...

Saturday's need to be JUST for relaxing...

Here's a few pics of us doing that...

R E L A X I N G!!

Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition, there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty waiting to be born.
Dale E. Turner

We hope that wherever you are...

You spend a little bit of time doing nothing but relaxing.

We are not sure exactly what mama means by this, but she says that if she doesn't do some of that "relaxing" thing this weekend,  then she might have what is called a breakdown????

Happy Saturday!

We saw a BIG Ferris Wheel on the new boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. They do some CRAZY Stuff there...like BUNGEE jumping...it was NUTS!!

Then we came back and took a nice long nap in the sun!!

Just so you know...LadyBug is NOT featured on today's blog post at all.

I beat her to it....BOL!!

Meet Maggie!

We have never met a bilingual dog before!!

Her name is Maggie and she is from Ottawa, Canada. She speaks both English and French!!

She is 1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Llasa Apso. That explains her color. Pure bichons are all white.

We met her on our walk tonight and she was so friendly!!!

Isn't she cute??

Shipshewana Candy Store: Saturday Blog Hop

We would like to showcase our visit to Shipshewana, Indiana today with some pictures of this very cool CANDY Store!!
C'Mon...can you seriously say NO to this pie?????  Every single pie was homemade by the Amish...and totally delish!!

Everything was very clean and neat...in every single building we went in!  Check out the beautiful quilts hanging up!!
Cute little tables to eat your pie at!
Across from that cute little table is the neatest little Candy Store!  I haven't been in a candy store in years...we used to go every year when we went to Key West!  Oh, how I miss those days!!
We have some rather LARGE Jelly Beans...in fact the biggest ones that I have ever seen!!

And don't even get me started on the jawbreakers...
LOOK at these babies!!!  Now.....WHO could eat one of these unless you smashed it in a billion pieces with a hammer????
 Ahhhhhh......Chocolate!!
LadyBug enjoying the air!  (I should say HEAT...it was about 100 that day!)

We weren't outside long...LadyBug is checking out birds here!
I just love buying meats at the Yoder Meat Store...they have the BEST meats!!
Now...this is what the girlz did all day while we were out and about...you can see that they are watching HORSES....Amish Horses!  They had never seen them before and were quite interested in them!!

Hurry Up and come home Mama...we are STARVED!!!  Got any of those meats???

Actually...I bought them a whole huge bag of raw marrow bones!

Stoney Creek RV Resort: Wisconsin

As most of you know, we were gone for the past month...headed out to Northern Minnesota and many stops along the way...we saw some positively gorgeous scenery along the way.  This particular post is featuring Stoney Creek RV Resort in Osseo, Wisconsin.  It was picture perfect in every way.  There didn't seem to be alot to do for day trips around there, but then again we weren't there long enough to really explore anything.  So, I leave you with some of our pictures of this beautiful park!
Yeah...we stopped for gas ALOT during the month!!  At 8mpg one has to!!

This park was beautiful with a gorgeous pool which was very much appreciated on a 95 degree day!!
They even had a snack bar on the premises which is very handy for people like us who do not tow.  We rent a car most of the time, but this particular night we did not have a car.
The sites were spacious and beautifully landscaped with huge trees...made me think it used to be a Christmas Tree farm!!
 Another pool!!
Always nice to have a picnic table on our site!  You would be surprised that some of the parks do not have them!
The sites were very level and huge!
We did not stay out for too long though...the heat got to us...and we went in to enjoy the A/C!!
Of course, I managed to try and get the girlz to pose for me!!
 Chloe laughing at me!
LadyBug just being her happy self!!

 Our site...

They had many different types of spinners for sale in their beautiful gift store!  Here are just a few!!

This is the front office / gift store.

We enjoyed this place and will probably go back...would definitely recommend!!
