Today was an unusually warm day for the end of March! Not that I am complaining...it really was just a perfect temperature out today...about 67!
I decided to take the girls out back so they could do some exploring. That is one of the things they miss immensely in the winter...they DO love their exploration time!!
In the top picture, you will see that Miss Chloe is sticking her head all the way down in to a hole in the grass...apparently the skunks have been in the yard...as my husband says...these are the types of marks they make when they are looking for grubs to eat.
Chloe has decided she is just going to plop herself right down in the middle of the yard and enjoy the air for awhile!
The best part of the whole day...my husband cooked tonight! Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup!

Being outside in the early spring and exploring is just the bestest! That chicken soup sure does look yummy!

Yes, the girls really do enjoy getting out and just enjoying nature! They miss it so much in the winter...LOVE it when my husband cooks! His soup is amazing!
Yes, we have a lot of making up to do...in the winter we don't get out to explore very much. Mama always saves chicken soup for us!!
