Check Out This Cool New Eazee DeShedding Tool!! #sponsored

**I did not receive compensation for this post..I was given the Eazee Grooming Tool in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are my own.**

We have discovered a fabulous new grooming tool called the Eazee by Foolee.  It is quite simply the Better DeShedder!!

There are a lot of grooming tools out there that have sharp edges that can scratch our furry friends.  This terrific tool, the Eazee, is safer, gentler, easier to use and more effective than those older models.  Best of all, Eazee removes 100% dead hair and 0% live hair.

The Eazee has a detachable handle designed to fit a range of click and brush accessories.  Introduced worldwide in 2016, the Eazee has been granted two international patents that cover its unique design.  The Eazee deshedding tool and the click and brush grooming system are a product of Swees America, which is the U.S. division of a pet-focused product development company based in France.

The Eazee deshedding tool was introduced first and now there is an entire collection of click and brush accessories for your grooming pleasure!  While the tools are designed for different jobs, they are all crafted to make grooming more comfortable and effective.

There is a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee!  If you are not completely satisfied, you can return your product within 30 days.

Should you have any questions, please send inquiries to info@eazee.pet or call 1-800-257-8050.  You can also find Eazee on Facebook and Instagram.

Thoughtless Thursday: The Polar Vortex Edition

See that picture up there???  THAT is where I would like to be right this very minute.

Instead...we are in the midst of another Polar Vortex.  Seriously?  A year ago no one had ever heard that term before and now we are using it in every day language!  It is supposed to be bone chilling cold here over the next several days.  Here are a few pics of what we are looking at...out our windows...

Stay WARM out there!!

BlogPaws WW: Stressed Out Chloe Girl!

I felt so bad for Miss Chloe this morning as she was SOOOOO stressed out!!  Going to the vet or the groomer is a very, very stressful activity for her.  The reason for the visit to the vet today was her vaccinations.  Good thing we only need those every three years!  I also had the vet take a look at the growth in her ear but she absolutely believes that it is not something to worry about.  Bichons are prone to fatty cysts and when the vet drained it, clear liquid came out.  To have the growth removed would be a very traumatic experience as she would have to go under general anasthesia.  I do not like to put my dog through that if I don't have to.  Especially because of her age...she will be 11 in January.  So, for now, we are taking a wait and see attitude.

Chloe does not like to leave her home turf.  If she could stay at home or in the RV all the time...she would be fine with that.  Even if we try to go for a walk outside of our yard, all she wants to do is turn around and go back home.

I guess it is a good thing we have a fair amount of land!

The funny thing is that Chloe is totally different when we are on an RV trip...she doesn't mind walking over to the lake to check out the ducks...or exploring different parks we might be in.  She's like a different dog!

LadyBug is my Rescue and she is much more social than Chloe is!

#Seresto Flea and Tick Protection: 2014 Best New Product Award!

Today, I am introducing you to a new kind of flea and tick protection by Seresto, the manufacturers of Advantage, Advantix, and Frontline.  Living in New York and shuttling between the Finger Lakes Region and the Thousand Islands Region in Northern NY, we encounter MANY kinds of fleas and ticks!!  Our Newf even had a case of sarcoptic mange...which is another GREAT thing about this collar...it aids in the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange!
http://blogp.ws/4PetParents

Seresto for Dogs was Voted Best New Flea and Tick Control* and was awarded the Better Homes and Gardens; 2014 Best New Product Award.

*Consumers participating in the 2014 Better Homes and Gardens Best New Product Awards voted Seresto for dogs the best new flea and tick control product.  Based on a survey of 2,485 consumers using a proprietary methodology developed by Brand Spark International using consumer appeal and purchase intent against two competitive products.  Highest score determines the winner, not necessarily statistical significance.  Categories are not a necessary reflection of the total market.  Based on the 2014 BrandSpark/Better Homes and Gardens American Shopper Study of 80,000 voters nationwide. For more information visit www.BestNewProductAwards.com

Seresto has an innovative delivery system and offers breakthrough protection against fleas and ticks for dogs and cats (and puppies and kittens too!)

Seresto kills fleas and repels and kills ticks so they cannot attach and transmit disease

Seresto is NON-Greasy, Easy to USE, and most of all, ODORLESS!!

The two active ingredients in Seresto are IMIDACLOPRID and FLUMETHRIN

This unique combination of ingredients has been used in products recommended by vets ... for years to control flea infestation.  It also effectively repels and kills ticks, larvae, and nymphs.

Seresto uses Sustained Release Technology that works similar to the monthly topicals; however, a new supply is continuously replenished in low concentrations.

Seresto is Water Resistant!!

It is NOT necessary to remove the collar before swimming, shampooing, or after it rains.

Effectiveness lasts for 8 months under normal conditions, providing the dog is NOT bathed more than once a month.

For dogs that swim more than once a month or more, the effectiveness of the product is reduced to 5 months.

The collar is easy to put on and Chloe and I are just thrilled with the results so far!!

I will be following up with another post on Chloe's progress in just a couple of weeks.

**This post is sponsored by Bayer / Seresto and the Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about the Seresto product, but BICHONPAWZ only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. Bayer / Seresto is not responsible for the content of this article.**

Sepia Saturday: Cottage Views and LadyBug Update

Here are a few shots I took today! Many people have asked how LadyBug is. She is MUCH better than she was, but not back to her old self again. She is still very tired and quite lethargic. She would like to eat her normal amount, but if I give it to her, she cannot digest it all. I suspect this is a process...and it will be quite some time before she will be able to eat her normal amount of food. She has lost quite a bit of weight and as you can see in the photo, she has also lost quite a bit of muscle mass in her facial structure. Her eyes look better to me, but are also not totally back to normal yet. Miss Chloe cannot quite figure out why her sister is not as active. She just does not feel like playing right now. I cannot blame her!

This has been quite an experience for us all!

Sepia Saturday: The "Just LOOK At Me" Edition

One would think that taking pictures of only TWO dogs would not be much of a problem.

Until the subjects are Chloe and LadyBug...

After about 87 out-takes...

This is what we ended up with...

It seemed like a good idea at the time!

The Answer to What's In the Box??

And here you have it!!

For our Anniversary, we got the LittleRed Campfire!!  It operates on propane and there is NO SMOKE!  Which is perfect for those of us who have asthma!

This cute little gift is easy to carry and useable in RV parks...even with burn bans!

It can also be used on wooden decks!

We just love it!!  We were introduced to this little gem when we were on our road trip.  Our neighbor was a Firefighter...and he and his wife invited us to come over for a drink.  It was a bit different sitting outside at Myrtle Beach in 70 degree weather...and sitting here in Northern NY in 45 degree weather!

It is truly amazing how much heat this baby puts out!!

The girls have already been instructed in the safe use of this product!!

Can you tell Chloe loves it??

Sepia Saturday: More Flooding!

This top photo is of LadyBug exploring our site in Coastal Georgia a couple of weeks ago.

We are still having all kinds of issues with flooding in our area!!  The next set of pictures are of our friends' house...their driveway, their cars, their home...what a MESS.

My heart goes out to all those involved with the current disasters around the country.  California is having a terrible time with fires right now...something weird is going on with this weather.

Let's hope it get's better SOON!!

Thoughtless Thursday: Aftermath of the Storm Edition

We were dealing with the aftermath of severe storms that passed by here last night...poor LadyBug was absolutely terrified...and miserable.  She was just a mess.  Ben and I had run out to the movies and the worst of the storm unfortunately hit while we were gone!!  We had no warning!!  So...we raced home...only to find very scared pups!!  Chloe does pretty well, except when LadyBug is a nervous wreck...it appears to rub off on Chloe!

We lost a big branch out of our beloved birch tree...so Ben was out chopping that down today...and bring all of the branches that were scattered about to the dump today.

-

LadyBug was EXHAUSTED and not much help today.  Of course, we were too!!

Yeah...Chloe looks a bit tired doesn't she??  No interest in supervising today!!

As I type this, yet another Flash Flood Warning has been issued...not what anybody needs!!
