Visiting Friends

We went to visit our friend's horse...isn't he a beauty??  See those ribs there on that plate??  The BEST ribs EVER!!  This guy should patent these ribs....my mouth is watering just thinking about them!!

On the way back, we stopped at Stone Mountain...if you ever get a chance to check out that place....GO!  It will be worth it!!

Chloe and LadyBug Visit Stone Mountain

Sometimes I just can't figure her out.

I mean....she IS just sitting there.

One would think she could HELP me get the Ducks!!

You know...throw me a raft or something!!

And NOOOOO....Daddy doesn't like to be in our videos!!

Chloe Enjoying Stone Mountain Lake, GA

Chloe really enjoyed cruising Stone Mountain Lake in GA...it was really hot and humid and I guess she just wanted to cool off!! 

She didn't used to go in the water, but the last couple of trips, she has learned that it really DOES cool her off!! 

LadyBug doesn't want anything to do with the water....she is happy just standing on the "shore" watching!

The Girlz Loved Coastal Georgia!!

It was beautiful and they had a wonderful dog park...although the only thing the girlz' wanted to do was LEAVE when I took them there!  They wanted to visit all the neighbors!  And the birds!  They loved watching the bird feeders!!

The weather was gorgeous!!

Sun, Sun, Sun every Single Day!!

The only negative was those little teeny, tiny gnats...called no see ums!  They were not friendly!

Happy Day!

We are very glad that we made it through the storms here...they were just devastating...closest tornado touchdown was 23 miles from us.

Today was a beautiful day with perfect temps and no sign of the storms. Sending prayers out to all who lost so much.

St. Simons Island

Every now and then I have to throw in a random post from our last Big Road Trip....these are some shots I took on St. Simons Island....check out the white bunny! Never saw an albino bunny before....these two were there every single morning....and they would come right up to us and eat carrots out of our hands! St. Simons was beautiful and I'd really love to spend some more time there!!

On another topic....thank you all for your help with the decision on my glasses. I haven't made a final decision yet, but I'm thinking I'm going to just keep them all! Then I'll have a bit of variety...you know...some days I might be a librarian :) Thanks Joy - Ha!

Coastal Georgia!

Finished up our Coastal Georgia trip with a freakin' ton of tornado warnings and major rain....over eight inches in just THREE days!! Saw a whole lot of the inside of the RV during those days!!

I have not done a very good job with keeping up with blogging while on this trip....hopefully will do better as time goes on! We also had some electrical problems at the site in Georgia....it was running at very low voltage, so running the A/C and the coffee maker at the same time did not work!! We were extremely fortunate that it didn't damage the RV's electrical system!! Now that we've hooked up in a new park....seems to be ok. Let's hope so!
